Mark Wade Hood

Mr. Mark Wade Hood of Stillwater, Oklahoma passed away August 6, 2007 in Stillwater, Ok. at the age of 52 years. Mark was born August 15, 1954 in Cushing, Oklahoma to his parents Bobby Gene Hood and Ruby Irene Dunn Hood. Mark was a painter by trade and was employed by Oklahoma State University. In his spare time Mark loved to be on his house boat. He was an avid outdoors man who loved fishing and hunting. Mark had a special tie to his dog named Spike; he also had a canny way of making people laugh. Mark was a wonderful all around guy with a special relationship with his mother Ruby. Mark is survived by his mother: Ruby Hood of Stillwater, Oklahoma, 1 son: Randy Hood of Ripley, Oklahoma, 2 daughters: Tricia Hood of Enid, Oklahoma and Stacy and husband Bryan Payne of Perkins, Oklahoma, 1 sister: Shelly Prewitt of Shamrock, Ok and a very special friend: Renesa Barbee of Sand Springs, Oklahoma. Mark is preceded in death by is father and 1 son: Jesse Wade Hood. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM, Thursday August 9, 2007 at the Palmer Marler Carberry Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Nathan Wheeler officiating. Interment will follow the service at 2:00 PM at the Shamrock Cemetery in Shamrock, Oklahoma. Funeral services are under the care and direction of Palmer Marler Carberry Funeral Home.
