Marvin C. Frick 96, of Stillwater passed from this life Thursday, March 25, 2010 at the Golden Age Nursing Home in Guthrie, Oklahoma.
Marvin was born November 2, 1913 and was the son of Joseph and Chloe Frick. Marvin married Geraldine. She was the love of his life and together they had three children. He was a member of Jehovah Witness. Early in his life he had farmed and worked for an aircraft company. He began his career as a barber and continued cutting hair at the Eco Barber Shop for 40 years.
He was a veteran of W.W.II, where he served in the Army Air Force. Marvin is survived by: One son, Clifford and Diane Frick, of Guthrie. One daughter: Delores Cartwright, of Moore, Oklahoma. One sister: June Frazee of Pawhuska, Oklahoma, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine in 2000, his son Jackie, his parents and one brother. Graveside services will be held Wednesday 11:00 a.m., March 31, 2010, at the Elm Grove Cemetery, south of Stillwater.
Services are under the direction of the Palmer Marler Funeral Home of Stillwater, 5106 N. Washington, 372-1811. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. Sunday from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m. and Monday from 8:00 a.m. until noon, at the Palmer Marler Funeral Home of Stillwater, 5106 N.
