Mary Ann Kapsar

Mary Ann Kapsar passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2009 in Stillwater at the age of 86. No local services are planned. Arrangements are under the direction of Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Stillwater.
Mary Ann was born on August 18, 1922 in Cleveland, OH to Michael and Anna (Kitch) Csejpes. She grew up and attended schools in Cleveland, OH graduating from the James Ford Rhodes High School. She then enrolled and attended classes at Lutheran Nursing School. She married George Kapsar on February 27, 1943 in Cleveland, OH. To this union, five children were born. Her life work was a nurse at Deaconess Hospital in Cleveland. She worked very hard, took wonderful care of her family and enjoyed traveling. She was a member of Saint Francis de Sales in Parma, OH. Mrs. Kapsar has been a resident of Stillwater for the past ten years where she was a member of Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George; one son, Daniel; one sister, Elsie; and one brother, Peter Sprock.
She is survived by four daughters, Barbara Lucas of Stillwater, OK, Mary Lou Vaughan and Margaret Rees of OH, and Rosemary of TX; one sister, Sally Csejpes of OH; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.
