Mary Annette Morris

Mary Annette Morris, 67, passed away on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 7, 2021 from 9am to 8pm at Dighton Marler Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at 2pm at Immanuel Baptist Church in Perkins, Oklahoma. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Garden Cemetery.

Mary was a beloved member of the community. She was very involved in her church and loved the Lord. After attending college, she started working in 1978 with her grandfather Ray V. Henderson selling insurance for Oklahoma Farmers Union. She purchased the business from him in 1984. The business later became American Farmers and Ranchers. She ran her business to serve others and did so up until her passing.

On Dec. 6th, 1975 she married Leon Morris. Later, they welcomed their son Josh and daughter LaNette. The door was always open at their house and whomever walked in immediately became family.

Mary lived for her grandkids and family. Always following them to their events, whether it was football, rodeo, dance, basketball, or anything else in which they were involved.

After she became sick, she still strived to get to all of their events. She was blessed to see her granddaughters Brigam and Brinley's first dance recital just two weeks before she went to be with the Lord.
