Mary Jane Mcrae

Mary Jane McRae passed away November 9, 2007 in Stillwater, Oklahoma at the age of 81 years. Mary was born in Coffeyville, Kansas August 20, 1926 to her parents Charles Taylor and Minnie Massa Taylor. Mary was a cosmetologist by trade and owned and operated Cottage Beauty Shop. She loved to sew, cook and sing and play piano. Mary also loved to raise tomatoes, visit and spend time with her friends at the nursing home. On December 15, 1950 Max Elmo McRae took Mary as his bride in Frendonia, Kansas. Although Mary is no longer with us her memory and legacy will be kept alive through the family and friends she leaves behind which include: Two Sons: Greg and Linda Jones of Park Hill, Ok, Eric McRae and Diane of Stillwater, Ok., Two Daughters: Marcia (McRae) Unsell of Perkins, Ok, Debbie (McRae) and Jeff Stephens of Stillwater, Ok, One Brother: Charles and Barbara Taylor of Edna, Kansas, Eight Grandchildren: Michael Unsell of Pauls Valley, Ok, Shannon Jones of Tulsa, Ok, Blaine Stephens of Stillwater, Ok, Ashley Stephens Pate of McKinney, Tx, Bree Stephens of Dallas, Tx, Teri McRae Phillips of Stillwater, Ok, Erica McRae Shiplett of Stillwater, Ok, Trisha McRae of Stillwater, Ok, Ten Great Grandchildren: Kyle and Kymber Sage of Tulsa, Ok, Caden, Ashlyn and Conner Phillips of Stillwater, Ok, Braxton McRae of Stillwater, Ok, Jaxon Munday of Stillwater, Ok, Brenton and Madeline Shiplett of Stillwater, Ok, Avery Pate of McKinney, Tx., Mary is preceded in death by her parents, One Brother: Walter Taylor, Husband: Max McRae, One Son: Bradley Taylor McRae. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 pm Monday November 12, 2007 at Palmer Marler Carberry Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor J.B. Bond officiating.
