Max Norman Alley, of Perry, Oklahoma passed away on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at the age of 93. Max died peacefully with his beloved wife Marilyn by his side. Graveside service will be held on Friday, May 21, 2021 at 9:00am at Ft. Sill National Cemetery in Elgin, Oklahoma. Dighton Marler Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Max was born in Ponca City, Oklahoma on January 21, 1928 to father Clarence Alley and mother Dorothy Alley. The oldest of three sons, he quit school and at the age of 17 he joined the Army Air Corp to help his parents financially. He was an airplane hydraulics mechanic in Alaska at the end of WWII. Then he was sent to Germany for the Berlin airlift in 1948 to 1949.
On January 21,1954 he married Marilyn L. Jacobson and they had six children.
Max is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Jerry Dean Alley, Daughters Cheryl Maxine and Pamela Grace Alley and grandson Andrew Alley.
He is survived by his wife Marilyn Lous Alley of 67 years, his brother George Alley, sister in laws Darlen Alley and Patricia Ann Alley, his children, Tim Alley, Tom Alley , Fred Alley and Janeice Alley. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 38 great grandchildren.
