Maxine Lanelle Bilyeu

Funeral services for Maxine LaNelle Bilyeu, age 93, of Perry, OK are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 28, 2009 at the First Baptist Church with Kent Ritchie officiating. Interment will be in the Grace Hill Cemetery. Family will greet friends from 6pm-8pm Sunday, December 27, 2009 at the funeral home. Mrs. Bilyeu was born on July 13, 1916 to James Frank and Hazel May (Bittle) Richardson in Vian, Oklahoma where she grew up and attended school, later moving to Bartlesville, OK and Van Buren, Arkansas. She attended college at Arkadelphia in Arkansas where she received her degree in Teaching. Her hobbies included; quilting, painting, reading, fishing, collecting rocks and being adventurous. The highlights of her life were her family and traveling. Mrs. Bilyeu passed from this life to be with her Lord and Savior on December 24, 2009 at the Perry Memorial Hospital. She is survived by, 8 daughters; Carolyn Longan and husband Larry of Perry, OK, Wilma Sawyer and husband Ron of Beggs, OK, Katie Dilts and husband Terry of Laramie, Wyoming, Amy Holden and husband David of Garber, OK, Anne Kennedy and husband Mike of Perry, OK, Alice Castleberry and husband Gerry of Geronimo, OK, Susan Castleberry and husband Doug of Stroud, OK, Peggy Simmons and husband Robert of Tonkawa, OK. 1 Son; John Bilyeu and wife Janet of Pampa, TX. Numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by; her parents, 2 brothers; James Frank Jr. and Louis Richardson.
