Michael Lee Parker

Michael Lee Parker, age 63 of Morrison, died on Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2006 at the Grace Living Center, Stillwater. Graveside Services will be held 10:00 a.m., Thursday Nov. 9, 2006 at the Morrison Cemetery, Morrison, Oklahoma.
Michael was born on Dec. 18, 1942 in Okemah, Oklahoma to Corb Oliver and Georgia L. (Pangle) Parker. He grew up in Wetumpka and later moved to Tecumseh. Michael graduated from Tecumseh High School in 1960 and then attended East Central College. He married Patricia Beleu on September 2, 1963 in Tecumseh. Michael worked as a welder/pipe fitter for Brown and Root and various other companies through out the years. Michael retired in 1990. He enjoyed hunting and was an avid reader. Michael also enjoyed tinkering around the house. He will be greatly missed by his family.
Michael is survived by his wife Patricia of the home, daughters Beth Shaffer and husband Steve of Morrison, Ann North and husband Chris of Edmond, mother Georgia Parker Suggs of Tecumseh, sister Faye Motley and husband Jerry Paul of Tecumseh, grandchildren Melissa Sansphree and husband Matthew, Holly Shaffer, Taylor and Brookelyn North, great granddaughter Ally Sansphree, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father Corb Parker.
