Michele Graves

Our precious daughter, sister, mom, Michele “Shelly” Graves, 58, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at her home in Roanoke, Texas. Funeral services have been entrusted to the care of Dighton-Marler Funeral Home of Stillwater.

Survivors include her mother, Virginia Graves of Morrison, Oklahoma; son, Jesse Graves of Texas; brother, David Graves of Morrison, Oklahoma; aunt, Kay Graves of Morrison, Oklahoma; many cousins and a host of friends.

Michele was born May 26, 1964 in Ft. Worth, Texas to George Thomas Graves and Virginia Mae (Dormire) Graves. She grew up and attended school in Grapevine, Texas, graduating in 1982. Michele remained in the Grapevine/Roanoke area and worked for Wal-Mart most of her life. She had planned to move back to Oklahoma this year to be closer to family, but unfortunately didn’t make it.

She will be available for viewing on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 from 9AM to 5PM. Funeral service will be held at 2PM on Thursday, February 2, 2023 at Dighton-Marler Funeral Home in Stillwater with Rev. Frank Lott officiating. Interment will follow at Grace Hill Cemetery in Perry.
