Mike Van Ho

Dong Van Ho (Mike), 35, of Stillwater, passed away on Sunday October 16, 2011 in Tulsa, OK after a tragic car accident. Services are under the direction of Palmer Marler Funeral Home of Stillwater. A prayer service for Mike will be held on Tuesday, Oct 18, 2011 at 5:00pm at Palmer Marler Funeral Chapel 5106 N. Washington in Stillwater. Visitation will be held Wednesday - Saturday from 8:00am-8:00pm. There will be a final prayer service on Sunday, October 23 at 6:30 a.m. at the funeral home and burial will follow at Sunset Cemetery in Stillwater.
Mike was born on March 7, 1973 to Tiem Van Ho and Thuy Nguyen in Hue, Vietnam. In 1987, Mike moved to the United States and resided in Maryland. In 1989 his family moved to Boston, MA. During a trip to Louisiana, Mike met and married the love of his life Kimha Nguyen. Shortly after the wedding, Mike and Kimha moved to Stillwater, OK and opened Da Vi Nail Salon. Mike had three children, Bryan, Braden, and Brandon and he had another child on the way.
He enjoyed fishing, playing sports, shooting pool, and spending time with his family. Mike was a dedicated father and a good friend to many. He will be remembered as a caring and responsible family member who was a very hard worker. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. The family asks that you keep Kimha and her unborn baby in your prayers, as she is still in the hospital.
Mike is survived by his father, Tiem Van Ho, of Vietnam. Three brothers: Tommy Ho, Peter Ho, and Linh Ho. Five sisters: Thu Thi Le Ho, Thuy Ho, Jannifer Ho, Nhi Ho, and Ni Ho.
