Mildred Madelyn Reilly

December 19, 1922 — July 31, 2015

Mildred Madelyn Reilly, 92, of Stillwater passed from this life on July 31, 2015. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home.
Mildred was born on Dec 22, 1922 in Elizabeth, NJ to John and Suzanne (Undra) Piskanowicz. She was raised in New Jersey and 1942 she married Joseph Reilly. They moved to Minnesota and then Wisconsin where Mildred worked as an executive secretary for Ohio Medical for many years. Mildred and Joe spent their summers at their residence in northern Wisconsin and spent the winter months at their home in Belleair, FL. Joe Reilly passed away in 1998 and in 2008 Mildred moved to Stillwater, OK to be near her daughter, Siobhan Reilly.
Millie enjoyed everything, sewing, knitting, garage sales, baking, music, whiskey and dancing. She loved collecting antiques, traveling all over the country with her daughter, and she generously volunteered her time at the Karman Korner Resale Shop and a few casinos. She was athletic and strong-willed which contributed to the fact that she remained mobile and thrived well into her 90s. She had a treasure trove of stuffed animals that she gave out to every child that came to her house. Her kind spirit and zest for life drew people to Millie and upon moving to Stillwater she met a fabulous new best friend, Miriam Velasco Ramos, whose family became a part of Millies family. Millie loved Miriam, Nelly, Pryscila, Lulu, David, Vania, Lisa, Ann, Wai Ping, Michele, Riley, Sagan and they all loved her. Millie was an independent woman who had an amazing sense of humor and she will truly be missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her four sisters and her husband Joseph Reilly. She is survived by her daughter Siobhan Reilly and son-in-law John Moore of Ponca City, OK and son Thomas Reilly of Iowa and two grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to Judith Karman Hospice.
Condolences may be sent to the family via an online guestbook at www.pmcfh.com
