Nghia Tieu

Nghia Tieu, age 62 of Stillwater passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2009 in Stillwater. Nghia was born on November 4, 1946 in South Vietnam where he grew up in and also in Rach Gia before coming to America in April of 1980 settling in Philadelphia. In 1982 he moved to Stillwater and started working for mercury marine in the assembly department where he worked until he retired. He enjoyed music, television and his home. He is survived by three brothers, Bay Tieu of LosAngeles, California, Hung Tap Tieu of Stillwater and Minh Tieu of Atlanta, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and two brothers. His services have been entrusted to the care of the Palmer Marler Funeral Home of Stillwater where prayer services will be held at noon on Friday and at 8 a.m. on Saturday morning.
