Paul David Rodman

Paul David Rodman, a Stillwater native, passed away Saturday, June 3, 2017 at his home in Stillwater surrounded by his family. Services have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home in Stillwater. A celebration of Paul Davids life will be held on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at 2PM at Countryside Baptist Church in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
He was born October 22, 1960 to Paul and Phyllis (Tomlinson) Rodman in Stillwater, OK. Paul David grew up in both Oklahoma and Clovis, New Mexico where he attended school. He graduated from Clovis High School in 1978. Shortly after graduation, Paul David moved back to Stillwater to attend the OSU Ag program. In 1983, he graduated from Oklahoma State University with his Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics.
While at OSU, Paul David met and fell in love with a young lady by the name of Susan Lindsey who he would soon call his bride and best friend. They were married on February 16, 1985 in Perkins, OK. Together they were blessed with 32 wonderful years filled with love, laughter, three children, and countless wonderful memories.
Paul Davids first love was his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The second dearest thing to his heart was his beautiful family. He loved his wife and children more than life itself. He enjoyed being a husband and dad. His kind-heartedness never went unnoticed. He loved people, and loved helping others. Having Paul David as your friend meant you had a loyal friend for life. He was just that kind of man.
He loved the country life. Raising, buying, and selling cattle were some of his passions. He worked many years as a cattle rancher, broker, and auctioneer. Paul David made a huge impact on many lives and will be greatly missed by all who were honored to have known him.
Paul David is survived by his best friend & wife, Susan of the home; one daughter, Lindsey Rodman and fiance Corbin Henningsen of Oklahoma City, OK; two sons, Lane Rodman and wife Danna of Perkins, OK, and Trey Rodman and fiancee Sarah Jane Johnson of Tulsa, OK; his mother Phyllis Rodman of Perkins, OK; two sisters, Peggy Lovett and husband Tim of Hurst, TX, and Pam Blakely and husband David of Forney, TX. Also, several cousins, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends too numerous to count. He was preceded in death by his father Paul, and both paternal and maternal grandparents.
