Paula Griffith

Paula K. Griffith, 55, of Tonkawa, passed from this life on Sunday, October 25, 2015 with her loving family by her side. Services have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home of Stillwater and a service celebrating her life will be held on Friday, October 30, 2015 at 10am at the funeral home chapel at 5106 N. Washington in Stillwater.
Paula was born to Elaine and Bill Griffith in Ponca City, OK on January 3, 1960. She graduated from Tonkawa High School and enrolled at Northern Oklahoma College, where she would go on to earn an Associates Degree. She spent the next 32 years working as a credit analyst at Conoco Oil in Ponca City. She enjoyed her years at Conoco and made many wonderful friends there.
When Paula was not working, she could often be found farming or raising cattle on her familys home place southwest of Tonkawa. She also enjoyed crocheting and doing needlework, as well as watching bull riders, police investigation dramas, and old western movies. Paula was a kind and generous woman whose smile lit up the room and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Paula was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters: Betty Griffith and Karen Griffith. A brother in law, Mike Miller. Grandparents: Jessie Jay and Vinnes Griffith and Rosevelt and Ruth Mayfield. She is survived by her siblings: Wayne Griffith and wife Kathy, of Tonkawa; Mary Waye and husband Dickie, of Emory, TX; Joan Miller, of Ponca City; Janice Eberle and husband Arlis, of Ponca City; Sandy Frederick, of Tonkawa; Jessie Griffith, of Tonkawa. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and countless friends.
The family wishes to extend sincere gratitude to Dr. Melinda Rother Allen for the kindness and compassion that she showed Paula over the years.
In lieu of flowers the family had asked that donations be made to the Riverview Cemetery in care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home. 5106 N. Washington. Stillwater, OK 74075
