Pauline Brown, 88, of Stillwater, passed away peacefully on May 17, 2017, at the Redbud
Assisted Living Community in Perkins. She was surrounded by friends and three generations of her off springs. Loved in life and loved in death.
Memorial service: May 27, 2017, 10:30 am at Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Stillwater. Pastors John Bugg and Max Goins, will officiate. Internment at Fairlawn Cemetery, Stillwater.Visitation at Palmer Marler Funeral Home on Thursday, May 25, 2-5 pm and Friday, May 26,9am to 8 p.m.. Family will greet friends Friday from 6-8 pm.
Pauline was born to William and Annie Savage in Eldorado, OK, on February 17, 1929. Robert Lee Brown, Jr. captured her heart and they married on her birthday in 1946. After 52 years of living, loving and raising their two sons, Robert passed away.
She was a wife and mother first, but later chose a career as a hospital unit secretary. She worked at St Vincents, Little Rock AR and Nebraska Methodist, Omaha NE. She is a Christian and was affiliated with the Church of Christ, Baptist, Christian and Methodist Churches at various locations where she and Robert lived.
Pauline is predeceased by: Her husband, Robert; her son, Dennis Lee; and her granddaughter, MeLanie Bell Brown; Siblings, Lee & Floyd Savage, Ruby Simpson, and Helen Delafield.
She is survived by: Her older son, Robert A. and wife, Teresa Bell Brown, and Denniss wife, Song Brown. Grandsons: Matthew, Rockford and Kyle David Brown; Granddaughter, Aimee Brown Claiborne; Great Granddaughters: Rachel MeLanie Brown and Charley Bell Brown; Great Grandson, Theodore Rockwell Brown. Sister, Juanita Ciaccia; Brother-in-law, Jessie Brown; Sisters-in-law, Jean Brown and Dean Brown; and many nieces and nephews of Brown and Savage descent.
Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to: Physicians Choice Hospice, Stephenson Cancer Center of OU Medicine; Cancer Center of Stillwater Medical Center; and any heart and cancer charity.
