Graveside services for Phyllis Jane McCool, age 81, of Norman, OK formerly of Ardmore, OK are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Rose Hill Cemetery, Ardmore, OK with Pastor Jim McCool officiating. Visitation will be from 9am-9pm Sunday, April 20, 2008 at the Havenbrook Funeral Home in Norman, OK. Family will greet friends from 6pm-8pm Sunday. Mrs. McCool was born on September 18, 1926 to Phil Hampton and Irene Myrtle (Tones) Flanery in Sadler, TX. She grew up and attended school in Terrell, TX later marrying Harry James McCool on August 4, 1946 in Denison, TX spending 56 years together. Phyllis was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and Ladies Auxillary Club in Ardmore, OK. She was devoted to spending time with her children and grandchildren. Mrs. McCool went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 18, 2008 in Norman, Oklahoma. She is survived by: 3 Sons: Roy Hampton McCool and wife Shannon of Norman, OK Harry James McCool and wife Lisa of Perry, OK Michael King McCool and wife Dimity of Norman, OK 12 Grandchildren: Tim McCool, Heather Henderson, Kaelin McCool, Leslie Nepveux, Nikki McCurtain, Robyn McCool, Vanessa McCool, Callie McCool, Sam McCool, Aidan McCool, Sean McCain and Daniel McCain 7 Great-Grandchildren Memorial contributions may be sent to the American Lung Association 61 Broadway, New York, NY 1006.
