Phyllis Jean Parker

Phyllis Jean Parker, 72, of Perkins (formerly of Bartlesville) was born on March 13, 1937 in Bartlesville, OK. She attended schools in Bartlesville, where she graduated from Bartlesville High School. After graduating, she moved around a little, but settled back in at Bartlesville where she began her career as a meter mechanic in the water department for the City of Bartlesville. She remained with the city for many years and eventually retired. Soon afterward, Phyllis moved to Perkins, OK to be near her son, Phil where she lived out the rest of her life. Phyllis passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2010 in Perkins, OK. Memorial services are scheduled for 1:00 pm Saturday, February 13, 2010 at the White Cloud Building of the Iowa Tribal Complex south of Perkins. Arrangements have been entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home of Stillwater.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Ahniwake; and her husband, Harold Roberts.
Phyllis is survived by one son, Phil Parker of Perkins; two sisters, Mary Ann Trusler of Perkins and Sue Thompson of Bartlesville; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and other family members and friends.
