Randy Smith

February 27, 1957 — January 19, 2015

Randy Smith, 57, passed from this life on Monday, January 19, 2015 in Oklahoma City, OK.

Randy was born on February 27, 1957 in Aurora, Illinois. He and his family moved to Kingman, Arizona, where Randy attended school and graduated from Kingman High School in 1975. After high school, Randy moved to Oklahoma where he began work in the manufacturing industry. Randy enjoyed working in the industry, but his true loves were anything related to cars and his three children, Courtney, Ashley, and Kyle. Randy could produce a hot rod from the ground up and that is the way he liked it. He would spend hours working in his shop, just tinkering on all sorts of projects. He would put all his blood, sweat, and tears into the vehicles he worked on. Randy also took part in all types of clubs that were hot rod, motorcycle, or drag racing related. Randy would race hot rods, dragsters, and would take part in burn-out competitions. He was known to many as the King of Burn outs. Randy had the passion for anything that had a motor, but his family came first above anything else. He put all their needs in front of his own. He wanted to make sure they had anything and everything they could possibly need. Randy was known as a fun loving dad and friend to all he knew. He was always telling jokes to friends and family. Randy was a true friend and father, he will be missed by many.

The family wishes to request that if you own a classic car or motorcycle to please drive it to the service if possible.

Randy was preceded in death by his son, Kyle Smith; father, Ronald Smith; both grandparents.

He is survived by his mother, Catherine Morrell; two daughters, Courtney Rhodes and husband, Bucky, Ashley Couch and husband, Josh; one brother, Rodney Smith; five grandchildren, Brianna Rhodes, Jurnee Doyle, Tyler Rhodes, Hadley Couch, and Sadie Couch; friends, Cindy Smith and Lori Smith, and countless aunts, uncles, and cousins.
