Reid I Desparois

Reid Ira Desparois, 68 of Perry, Oklahoma passed away in his home on Tuesday, April 28, 2020 surrounded by his family. Funeral Services have been entrusted to the care of Dighton-Marler Funeral Home of Perry.
Reid was born November 7, 1951 in Spokane, Washington to Kelsie and Sally Desparois, and grew up in the Omaha, Nebraska area. He entered the Army in 1971.
He married Melody Dee (Poisel) on August 23, 2010 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma.
He enjoyed watching Nascar, football and anything sci-fi. He was a huge Treky. Reid enjoyed his family, especially his grandkids.
He is survived by his wife, Melody of the home, Children, Rebecca Lantz of Omaha, Nebraska, Ronnie Wellman of Omaha, Nebraska, Reid Wellman of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; two step-daughters, Annie Morse of Cushing, Oklahoma, and Verena Grotts of Stillwater, Oklahoma; Siblings, Ron Ray of Kansas City, Kansas, Jane Cedar of Omaha, Nebraska, June Griffiths of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Judith Bass of Sapulpa, Oklahoma and Jennifer Kitterman of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Eighteen grandchildren; and Ten Great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Joseph Johnson.
