Richard Lee Hesser

Richard Lee Hesser, 62, died on February 24, 2021 in Oklahoma City OK. Graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, March 3, 2021, at Glencoe South Cemetery, Glencoe, OK. Dighton Marler Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Richard was born on May 12, 1958 to Joy Roberson and her husband Max Hesser. Richard grew up in the Glencoe area, graduating from Glencoe high school in 1976.
Richard worked for Stover Associates for many years. He was an avid reader and liked medieval weapons. He enjoyed listening to music of all different genres. On February 13, 2008, Richard started working for the city of Ponca City in the water treatment plant. He was a certified “A” wastewater operator and a certified “A” water operator for the state of Oklahoma. Richard married Donna Jones on October 30, 2015 and gained two new sons Christopher and Riley Summers.
Richard is preceded in death by his father Max, his grandparents, and his brother Randy Hesser.
He is survived by his wife Donna, of the home; his mother, Joy Laramore and his father Don; his children; Richard Paul Hesser (Stephanie), Brandy Joy Marcum (Kevin), Briann Michaels (Joseph) Brandon Norwood, and Desiree Norwood. He is also survived by his siblings Dayna Joy Kinder (Paul), Patty Rogers (Steve), David Larmore, and Donald Laramore as well as several much loved grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
