Robert H. Weinkauf

Funeral services for Robert H. Weinkauf, age 87, of Perry, Oklahoma are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 4, 2008 at the Zion Lutheran Church with Pastor Dan Thimell officiating. Interment will be in the McGuire Cemetery. Mr. Weinkauf was born on August 28, 1921 in Canadian County, Banner, OK to Herman and Esther (Estes) Weinkauf. He grew up and attended school in the Richland area later graduating from Yukon High School. He was president of the Yukon FFA Chapter. Robert later moved to the Orlando area where his parents started their family farm and on November 23, 1946 married Freda Branson in Medicine Lodge, Kansas. He worked in the oilfield most of his life. His hobbies included working, hunting, fishing, and working on mechanical things. Robert passed from this life to be with his Lord and Savior on August 30, 2008 in Perry, OK at the Green Valley Nursing Home. He is survived by: 2 Sons: Larry Weinkauf of Orlando, OK Bob Weinkauf and wife Mary of Perry, OK 2 Brothers: John Estes and wife Sue of Drummond, OK Bill Estes of Enid, OK 5 Grandchildren: Mike Weinkauf, Janet Marshall, Bobi Jo Nelson, Beki Gibson and Matthew Weinkauf 5 Great-Grandchildren: Keri, Juli, Courtney Smith, Renzi and Teague Nelson.
