Robert Lee Beckner

Memorial services for Robert Lee "Sonny" Beckner are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday May 30, 2007 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah"s Witnesses Church with Lamont Carter officiating. Services are under the direction of Perry Funeral Home. Sonny was born on June 8, 1934 to Clyde Sr. and Magdelina (Schultz) Beckner in Noble Co., Oklahoma and passed from this life on May 28, 2007 at the Green Valley Nursing Home, Perry, OK at the age of 72 years. Sonny grew up and attended school in the Perry area and later was a veteran of the United States Air Force and in August of 1992 he married Patsy in Gallatin, Tennessee. He was a handyman by trade. He is survived by: Wife: Patsy of the home 3 Daughters: Teresa Inselman and husband Matthew of Perry, OK Michelle Fry and husband Steve of Kansas City, MO Donna Marie of Michigan. 4 Step-Daughters: Anna, Maricia, Misty Bingham of Texas Yolanda Bingham of Perry, OK 2 Step-Sons: David and Bobby Bingham of Texas Brothers : Clyde Beckner and wife Donna of Lucien, OK Virgil Beckner and wife Becky of Lucien, OK Jim Beckner and wife Gayle of Minnesota Sisters: Juanita Hise and husband Bob of Perry, OK Ruth Graham and husband Wayne of Covington, OK 1 Granddaughter: Lacie Inselman of Perry, OK 1 Great- grandaughter: Abigail Inselman of Perry, OK 2 Grandsons: Steven Inselman of Perry, OK Bryce Nelson of Kansas City, MO 1 Step-grandson, 2 step-grandaughters He was preceded in death by his: parents, 2 brothers, Benny and Donald Beckner and 1 sister, Donna Beckner.
