Rosline Robert Fellman, 94, of Osage City, KS passed peacefully from this life on Thursday, October 2, 2014 in Stillwater, OK with her family at her side. Services have been entrusted to the care of Vanarsdale Funeral Home in Osage City, KS.
Rosline was born on January 17, 1920 in Osage City, KS to Albert and Evona (Mathieu) Robert. She was raised in Osage City, graduating from Osage City High School in 1938. On August 26, 1940 she married the love of her life, Howard Charles Fellman, a marriage that would last nearly 50 years and ended due to his death in 1990. The couple had two children: Carol Sue and Charles Howard.
Ms Fellman spent the majority of her life working as an administrative assistant at several different doctors offices. She was a member of various clubs and church groups at St Patrick's Catholic Church and a lifelong resident of Osage City, where she resided until moving to Stillwater, OK in 2007 to be closer to her family. Rosline was a generous woman with a giving spirit. She volunteered as a delivery driver for Mobile Meals and her cinnamon rolls were a local favorite. She was happiest when she was surrounded by her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Albert and Evona Robert and her husband and best friend Howard Charles Fellman. She was also preceded by three siblings: Marguerite Robert Myzer, Howard Robert, and LaVerne Robert Berry.
She is survived by her two children Carol Sue Fairbanks and husband David, of Stillwater, OK and Charles Howard Fellman and wife Sue, of Baytown, TX. She is also survived by six grandchildren: Bill Fellman, John Fellman, Elaine Fairbanks Renfrow (Jeff), Ellen Fairbanks Wood (Jason), Frank Fairbanks (Courtney), and Erin Fairbanks (Amanda). 10 great grandchildren: Avah Fellman, Ann Marie and Samantha Fellman, Reese, Grant, and Bree Renfrow, Ainsley and Carter Wood, Harper Fairbanks, and Jackson Fairbanks. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other family members.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Westhaven Nursing Center, Stillwater Medical Center, and Good Shepherd Hospice for the kindness and compassion they showed to Rosline during her illness.
