Ruby Jean Mangold

Ruby Jean Mangold, 91, passed away on Monday, October 30, 2023, in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 12:00pm to 8:00pm at Dighton Marler Funeral Home in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Funeral service will be held on Friday, November 3, 2023, at 10:00am at Dighton Marler Funeral Home Chapel in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Interment will follow at Perkins Cemetery in Perkins, Oklahoma. Dighton Marler Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.

Ruby was born on August 31, 1932, in Hominy, Oklahoma to Nick and Della (Mikel) Nichols. She grew up in Hominy and went to Hominy School. She married Richard Mangold on December 9, 1948, in Cleveland, Oklahoma.

Ruby loved to play golf, go bowling, and loved her dog, Bimbi. She enjoyed feeding her birds and squirrels every day. She also enjoyed spending time at the casino and loved spending as much time as she could with her family.

Ruby is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her children Wayne Mangold, and Frankie Mangold, as well as her siblings, Mary Cecil, Dena Taylor, John Nichols, James Nichols, Opal Gann (her twin sister), George Nichols, Gus Nichols, Ethel Vines, and Alice Neighbors.

She is survived by her children, Danny Mangold and wife Frances, Jana Nelson and Roseanne Mangold. Her sister Ruth Ann Mathew and her grandchildren Amanda (Bobby) Page, Brett (Crystal) Moore, Sarah Wolff, Angela (Brian) McDonald, Jamie Taylor, Danielle (Eric) Kinzie, Tiana Eaton, Kayla Eaton, Alexandria (Ethan) Sample and Kinzie Mangold-Wright, as well as 16 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.
