Sandra Lee Grubb, surrounded by her loved ones, went home to be with her Lord and Savior February 17, 2023, at her home in Perry. She was 82-years-old.
Sandra was born August 23, 1940, in Perry, Oklahoma to Leo and Ethel (Wagoner) Hasenfratz. She grew up in Perry and was a 1958 graduate of Perry High School. She was married to Maurice V. Grubb on May 15, 1959, at the First Christian Church in Perry. She is the mother of three children: Mike Grubb, John Grubb and a daughter, the late Mitzi Grubb.
In addition to her family, she had a love for flower gardening and sharing those flowers with others. She especially loved her “naked ladies.” She loved to read her Bible and enjoyed watching and taking care of the feral cats in her neighborhood. She was a member of the Perry Assembly of God Church. She loved being a member of Aglow International and once served as president of the Perry Aglow chapter.
She worked as a waitress in her early years and in addition to being a full-time housewife and mother, she occasionally worked as a caregiver for elderly women.
She is survived by her two sons: Michael (Mike) Grubb and his wife Lynn, and John Grubb.; four grandsons: Colin Grubb, Brandon Tenbrink, Jared Grubb and Noah Schaffer; and one great granddaughter Jaden Grubb.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice; her parents; her daughter Mitzi; a sister, Shirley Hasenfratz; two brothers, Tom Hasenfratz and Dan Hasenfratz; father and mother-in-law: Arthur and Vera Grubb; and brothers-in-law: Milton Grubb and John Yeager.
