Sarah Elaine Tuttle

Sarah Elaine Tuttle, a longtime Cushing resident, died Monday, October 18, 2010 at her home surrounded by a loving family. Rosary will be held Monday, October 25 at 6:00 p.m., Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Cushing. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, October 26 at 10:00 a.m., Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Cushing. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Ponca City, OK. Arrangements are entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing. Memorials in Sarah's name suggested to CRH Foundation Breast Cancer Fund or Cushing Care Clinic Breast Cancer Mammogram Fund, in care of the funeral home. Sarah was born November 16, 1954 in Oilton, OK to Andrew Jackson Crabtree and Alice Marie Tidwell Crabtree. Sarah attended Shidler Public Schools and graduated in 1973. In 1977 she moved to Cushing. She then entered the Central Vo-Tech LPN program. Sarah valued education and went on to earn her RN degree from Tulsa Community College. She began her nursing career at Valley Hope, then Medical Associates and most recently Cushing Regional Hospital. The enthusiasm she felt for nursing never dimmed, dedicating 25 years to caring for the needs of others.
Sarah loved the Lord and was a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church. She valued her family and spent her energy giving back to what was so generously given to her. Her kindness is remembered in every meal she prepared, every hug she embraced, and every whispered "I love you".
Sarah is survived by her sons Chris Tuttle of Cushing, Jacob Tuttle of Guymon, and a granddaughter Brooklyn Tuttle of Cushing. She will be missed greatly by her brothers and sisters, Charles Jackson and wife Clair of Coppell, Tx., Wayne Crabtree and wife Jill of Ada, David Crabtree and wife Vicki of Choctaw, Patricia and husband George Lyle of Albuquerque, NM., Jackie Lockett of Bartlesville, Peggy Briggs and husband Gary of Ramona, Sally Larison of Bartlesville, Judy and husband John Payne of Shidler, Linda and husband John Howell of Praque, and many nieces and nephews.
Sarah is preceeded in death by her parents.
