Sharon L. Timmons

Sharon L. Timmons, age 73, of Perry, OK passed away on December 11, 2006 in Perry, Oklahoma. She was born October 11, 1933 in Perry, Oklahoma to Norman and Maude (Curtis) Powell in Noble County. Private family services will be held at the family farm in Noble County. Arrangements are under the direction of Perry Funeral Home. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in care of Perry Funeral Home 203 E. Fir, Perry, OK 73077. In 1957 she married Mr. Donald F. Timmons in Santa Cruz, California and moved to Salinas, California. She was a kindergarten teacher and a member of the Northminister Presbyterian Church. She was a long time fan of the University of Oklahoma sports teams and loved her gardens and animals. Mrs. Timmons will be dearly missed and cherished by her loved ones. She spent many happy years during her childhood with her beloved grandparents, Will and Lena Curtis on the family farm in Noble County. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Donald F. Timmons of the home. 2 sons: Curtis Timmons of Broken Arrow, OK, Donald Paul Timmons of Salinas, CA., 2 daughters: Lesli McAllister and Kristen West both of Salinas, CA.
