Shelley Gail Ivers, age 44 of Stillwater passed away early Thursday morning, May 14, 2009 in a Tulsa, Oklahoma hospital. Her services have been entrusted to the care of the Palmer Marler Funeral Home of Stillwater and will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 18, 2009 in the Chapel of the Palmer Marler Funeral Home with J. B. Bond officiating.
Mrs. Ivers was born on February 23, 1965 in Akron,Ohio and was the daughter of the late Clyde E. and Eunice M. (King) Lietke. She grew up in Ohio and Sunnyslope, Arizona, spent ten years in Mt. Home, Arkansas before moving to Stillwater fifteen years ago. Shelley was affiliated with the Bible Baptist Church and enjoyed shopping, playing board games with her family, vacationing, spending time with her family and being the life of the party. She worked as a convenience store manager and was united in marriage to Scott Michael Ivers on November 1, 1994 in Stillwater.
Shelley is survived by her husband Scott of the home in Stillwater; one daughter Whitney Nicole Ivers of the home; one son Kyle Scott Ivers of the home; two brothers, Gary E. Lietke of Tryon and Dale Lietke and wife Rebecca of Stillwater; three sisters, Darlene Henry and husband Joe of Kent, Ohio; Faunda Fletcher and husband Michael of Arlington, Texas and Robin Sue Lench and husband Vernon of Morrison, Oklahoma.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
