Shirley Diane Hartung

Shirley Diane Hartung 53, of Garber, Oklahoma passed away Wednesday, May 2. 2018 in Perry. Service will be 2pm Monday May 7, 2018 at the First Christian Church of Perry. Visitation will be 10am to 4pm on Saturday and 1pm to 8pm Sunday May 6, 2018 with family greeting guests from 6pm to 8pm. Arrangements are entrusted in the care of Dighton Marler Funeral Home of Perry.

Shirley was born on December 2, 1964 in Enid, Oklahoma to Warren and Patricia (Whitefield) Prince. She grew up in Garber and graduated from Garber High School in 1983. Shirley married Jeff Hartung on February 14, 1987 at the First Christian Church in Perry.

Shirley worked as a nurse’s aide for many years. She loved to watch TV and movies. She enjoyed shopping and going to the casino. Some of her best time was spent on the porch relaxing and spending time with her family and friends. She also like to go fishing and swimming.

Shirley is preceded in death by her son Eric Hartung and her father.

Shirley is survived by her husband Jeff, her son Jesse, her siblings, Warren Frank Prince, Jr., Brenda Kaminskas, Nina Long and her husband Steve, Sheryl Prince and Stephen Prince. She is also survived by her father in law, Lewis Hartung and sister in law Linda Hartung, as well as a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
