Shirley Haws

Shirley Rae Haws passed away Friday April 13, 2007 in Stillwater, Oklahoma at the age of 75 years. She was born in Pawnee, Oklahoma March 5, 1932 to Howard Hamby and Mildred Pershall Hamby. Shirley was a home maker. She loved to play games such as bridge and cards. She was a quilter and enjoyed to sew. Shirley enjoyed traveling with her sister and loved receiving sappy birthday cards. Shirley was a faithful member of the senior citizens and enjoyed their activities. She was a great mother and grandmother and loved her family greatly. Although she is no longer with us her memory and legacy will be kept alive through the family and friends she leaves behind which include:1 Son: Tony Jonas of Stillwater, Ok, 3 Daughters: LeAnn and Charlie Weatherbie of Monroe, Louisiana, Micki and Rollie Heatly of Tulsa, Ok, Kellie and Blaine Douglas of Gray, Tenn. 1 sister: Treca And Bill Adams of Pawnee, Ok, 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Shirley is preceded in death by her parents, both husbands: Billy Hugh Jonas in 1964 and H.M. Haws in 1982, 1 Son: Billy Hugh Jonas Jr. Memorial Service will be 11:00 AM Tuesday April 17, 2007 at Palmer Marler Carberry Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mike Raines officiating.
