Staci Nichole Etheridge, born on June 22, 1985, left us far too soon on October 12, 2024.
Staci exemplified a truly immense heart. Her selflessness knew no bounds; she was always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need, often prioritizing others above herself. Her beautiful smile and infectious laughter could brighten even the darkest days, making it impossible not to join in her joy. Staci touched the lives of everyone she met, leaving behind countless stories that showcase her wonderful spirit.
To label Staci simply as a homemaker or hairdresser would be an injustice. She was a dedicated mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and aunt—roles she embraced with passion. But she was much more than that. Staci was a gifted painter, skilled carpenter, talented artist, and an all-around jack of all trades. If she faced a challenge she couldn’t tackle alone, she knew who to turn to for help.
Staci’s absence will be profoundly felt. She is survived by her two sons, Hayden Higgins and partner Lissie Hernandez, and Nathaniel Maurell Daniels, Jr.; Her loving mother, Judith Etheridge; brother, James Etheridge III; sister, Sarah Freeman; and devoted fiance, Bobby Cantrell from Stillwater, will carry her memory forward. Above all, her granddaughter, Maria Hernandez, was the light of her life. Staci leaves a legacy of love and many extended family who will always remember her warmth and kindness
