Stacy Jeanette Wells

June 2, 1982 — April 11, 2025

Morrison, Oklahoma

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of the radiant Stacy Wells on April 11, 2025. Stacy was born in Stillwater, Oklahoma, on June 2, 1981, a bundle of joy and a beacon of resilience from her first breath. Her laughter was infectious, and her love for life was as vast as the Oklahoma plains she grew up on. Stacy was a creative soul, fearlessly painting the canvas of her life with strokes of courage, love, and resilience.

Stacy's journey was not always an easy one, but she embraced every challenge with a strength that was awe-inspiring. Her career in customer service and trucking was a testament to her determination and supportive nature, always willing to lend a hand or a comforting word. Despite the hardships life tossed her way, Stacy always sported a smile that could light up the darkest room, living up to Ernest Hemingway's words, "We are all broken, that's how the light gets in."

Stacy's greatest joy and proudest accomplishment were her two children, Eileen Hayes and Devon Bates. Her love for them was a testament to her nurturing spirit, and she embraced motherhood with all the love and ferocity of a lioness protecting her cubs. Stacy's love story with her fiancé, Andres Jasso, was one for the ages: a testament to their shared resilience, unwavering love, and mutual support. She is survived by her cherished children, devoted fiancé, her brother John Bates and beloved father, Greg Madden. Stacy's vibrant spirit joins her mother, Rita Bates, in the realm beyond our sight, but ever present in our hearts.

We invite you to celebrate Stacy's life by sharing your memories, stories, and photographs on her memorial page. As we remember Stacy, let us cherish not only her memory but also the enduring lessons of love, resilience, creativity, and support she embodied. In the words of Ralph Waldo Emerson, "It is not length of life, but depth of life." Stacy lived deeply, loved fiercely, and left a legacy of strength and love that will forever be etched in our hearts.
