Stephen Ray Perry

Stephen Ray Perry, age 66, of Stillwater, passed on October 25, 2021, in Stillwater, OK. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 28, 2021, from 9 am to 5 pm, and Friday, October 29 from 9 am to 11 am, at Dighton Marler Funeral Home in Stillwater. Graveside service will be held on Friday, October 29, 2021, at 1:00 pm at Fairlawn Cemetery in Stillwater.
He was born on October 31, 1954 in Oklahoma City, OK, the son of Benton and Marjorie Ruth (Griffith) Perry.
Early in his work career he worked as a private detective in Oklahoma City and Edmond and then upon returning to Stillwater, he worked as a concrete finisher until he began his 20 years working for Kicker Speakers. Steve was known by many to be an outstanding gymnast at Stillwater High School. He loved martial arts, bicycling, kayaking, sailing and doing impersonations.
Survivors include his sister Gayla and her husband Douglas Dollar of Stillwater, OK, as well as nieces and nephews Rodney Hall and wife Marilyn, Karen Garcia and husband Raymond, Katherine Knutson and husband Garrett, April Donavan and husband Matt, Daniel Cruzan and wife Jessica, Stephenie Harrison and husband Randy, Derrenda Appleton and husband Raymond, plus many great nieces and great nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Tamara Cruzan, and one brother, Benton Perry.
