Steven Lee Hollis, Sr.

Steven Lee Hollis Sr., 65, passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at his home in Stillwater. Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at 10:30 A.M., at the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Ponca City, Oklahoma. Dighton Marler Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.

Steve was born on May 21, 1958, in Ponca City, Oklahoma to Stan and Sharlene Hollis. He grew up in Ponca City and graduated from Ponca City High School.  Steve worked in construction most of his working life. He enjoyed the outdoors, spending time at the lake fishing, and boating. He also enjoyed motorcycles and was a die-hard music fan. He was also a big sports fan, especially Oklahoma State University sports, as well as a very big animal lover. Steve was a wonderful grandpa to his grandchildren. He loved the holidays and wanted to make sure everyone was spending time with each other.

Steve is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Bruce Hollis.

He is survived by his children, Kesha Hollis, Steven Hollis Jr., and Amanda Brown, his grandchildren Breanna Depperschmidt, Emily Wise, Chelsea Fortney, Jaden Hollis, Journey Hollis, and Kayleona Brown as well as his two great grandchildren Korra and Kovely Fortney and his dog and best friend, Bo.
