Thelma Peck

Thelma Peck, 73, formerly of Stilwell passed from this life peacefully at home in Stillwater with her daughters by her side on May 16, 2013. Services were entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home of Stillwater and a private family gathering will be held at a later date.
Thelma was born on November 11, 1939 in Carnagie, OK to Joe and Alba (Rogers) Lemon. She resided in Santa Maria, CA, where she met the love of her life, Roy Peck. Thelma and Roy were married on Dec. 31, 1960 in Las Vegas, NV. Following Roys retirement in 1983, the family moved to Alpena, AR where they lived until Roys passing in 1991. Later that year, Thelma relocated to San Jose, CA to be near her daughter Donna. In 2003, Thelma moved to Stilwell, OK where she worked as a caregiver and a housekeeper. Following a diagnosis of Cancer and COPD, she once again moved to be near her daughter, Donna, in Stillwater.
Thelma enjoyed doing craft projects and spending time with her daughter. She was as loving as she was stubborn and she was independent and kind. She will be missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Roy L. Peck, and daughters Phyllis G. Peck and Debra J. Bowden.
She is survived by her daughters: Sheral Brewer of Red Field, AR and Donna Montgomery and husband Mike, of Stillwater, OK. She is also survived by 4 sisters: Reva Eagle of OK, Patsy Levi of KS, Barbara Middleton of CA, and Jeannie Martin of CA, and a brother, Phillip Lemon of OK. 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
