Thomas Eugene Miller

November 13, 1927 — January 31, 2017

Tom was born October 13, 1927 in Peru, Indiana, to Clifford and Alice (Sturgis) Miller. He grew up in Wabash County, Indiana. He graduated from Somerset High School in 1945. After graduation, he married Jacqueline Vee Harvey on May 13, 1946 at the Somerset Christian Church in Somerset, Indiana. Then, in 1947 he joined the Army where he served in the Army of Occupation during WWII as a Technician Fourth Degree. He later attended Ozark Bible College where he earned his Bachelors of Sacred Literature in 1969. He served as a Minister in the Christian Church until his retirement in 1993. After retirement he continued to read, watch sports, and be active in personal ministry.
He is survived by two sons, Eugene Lee Miller and wife Betty, of Stillwater, OK, and Chris A. Miller and wife Merrie, of Tremble, MO; one daughter, Susan Anne Miller of Bradenton, FL; one brother, Ray Alan Miller and wife Minnie, of Ridgecrest, CA; five grandchildren, Kenton Miller of Stillwater, OK, Kara Wells and husband Jon, of Ponca City, OK, Melanie Peak and husband Justin, of Tremble, MO, Christin and husband Kelsey, of Smithville, MO, and Douglas Miller of Tremble, MO; ten great-grandchildren, and other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jacqueline in 2001; son, Jay Alan Miller in 1996; and his parents.
