Tressa Lee (Tipton) Farrow, 60, of Stillwater, OK, passed from this life on June 6, 2017 at her home in Stillwater surrounded by her family. Services have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home in Stillwater.
A Celebration of Tressas life will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at 1:00PM at Southside Baptist Church in Stillwater. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Garden in Stillwater,OK.
Tressa was born October 12, 1956 in Stillwater, OK, to Lonnie and Norma (McGuire) Tipton. She grew up in Stillwater and graduated from Stillwater Public Schools in 1974. She made her home in Stillwater and worked as a Caretaker for many years. She was always helping people out when they needed it. Tressa was very proud of her two girls, Brandy and DeShannon. Her grandchildren were one of the greatest joys in her life. She loved them dearly. Tressa also loved her "Fur" babies. She had a special love for Gods little creatures.
She is survived by mother, Norma Tipton of Stillwater, OK; two daughters, Brandy Johnson, and Shannon Taylor and husband David all of Stillwater, OK; husband, Doug Farrow of Stillwater, OK; two grandchildren, Tiara Taylor, and Torrie Taylor, and one great-grandchild, Taylor Lee Weston all of Stillwater, OK; five step-children and several step-grandchildren; two brothers, Lonnie Tipton, Jr. and wife Suzanne of Denton, TX, and Greg Tipton and wife Erin of Coyle, OK; two sisters, Shelly Sneed and husband Tom of Perkins, OK, and Sheila Smith and husband Kelly of Broken Arrow, OK; several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Lonnie Tipton, Sr., son-in-law, Jeff Holderfield, and step-son, Dennis Farrow.
Tressa will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
