Vera Mae Bolay

Vera Mae Bolay of Red Rock passed into eternity Wednesday, January 26, 2022 in Perry. She was 83. Funeral services have been entrusted to the care of Dighton-Marler Funeral Home of Perry.
Vera was born January 28, 1938 Ponca City, Oklahoma to Erwin and Irene (Foreman) Sullins. She graduated from Red Rock High School in 1956 and married her high school sweetheart, Derrold Bolay on August 25, 1956 in Ceres, Oklahoma. She enjoyed sewing, embroidery, ceramics, and most of all spending time with her family.
Those left to mourn her passing include her husband Derrold of the home; four children, Terry Bolay and wife Joan of Perry, OK., Sandra Beier of Edmond, OK., Daniel Bolay and wife Anita of Perry, OK., and Lee Ann Gregory and husband David of Stillwater, OK; one brother, Wendall Sullins of Perry, OK; Megan Gregory, Waylon Bolay (Ashley), Ashlie Sadler (Tyler), Clayton Sleeger (Amanda), Addie Sleeger, Shelby Beier (Fiance’,Matt Knori), Melissa Colasacco (Tony), Robyn Buie (Brian), Bryan Bolay (Kendra), Brandt Bolay (Patricia), Mikel Hayes (Carolyn), Jerrod Hayes, Caleb Hayes (Kamber), Whitney Hayes (Wyatt Wolff), Amy Adams (Kevin), Brnadon Bolay, DeAnna Hinkle (Jesse), Michelle Skidgel (Jeremy), Laura Mc Connell (Doug), 40 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. She will be greatly missed by so many. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Dale Bolay; son-in-law, Robert Beier; siblings, Bob Sullins, Wilma Condit, and Dick Sullins.
Visitation will be Sunday, January 30, 2022 from 2PM to 6PM at Dighton-Marler Funeral Home of Perry. Come share some stories with us. Graveside services will be 2PM Monday, January 31, 2022 at Grace Hill Cemetery in Perry with Ronnie Wilson officiating. Pallbearers will be Bryan Bolay, Brandt Bolay, Clayton Sleeger, Tyler Sadler, Tony Colasacco, Waylon Bolay, and Patricia Bolay.
