Victor Costa departed to his heavenly home on February 4, 2022. He died peacefully in his sleep.
Victor was born on December 8, 1936, in Houston, Texas to Nash and Rose (Vallone) Costa. He attended Christian Brothers College near his South Texas home and graduated in the class of 1954. He then enlisted in the U.S. Army and obtained the rank of Sergeant. He married Charlotte Loft on May 18, 1957, in Oklahoma City. To this union three children were added.
After his initial term of service, Victor attended the University of Oklahoma completing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration. He then began his career as General Internal Auditor for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company. After his retirement, he focused on writing, speaking, and serving others.
Victor loved to play golf. But his true loves were Jesus, his bride and family. He was happy serving others by volunteering with Habitat for Humanity and Stillwater Medical Center or removing trees and chopping firewood for those in need. He was equally at ease when hosting a book signing or speaking to a large audience.
He is survived by his wife of the home, Charlotte Costa and children Stacie Costa, of Skiatook, OK, Vicki Branstetter and her husband Roy, and Steve Costa and his wife Kaili, both of Stillwater, OK. He is also survived by his brother Rocco Costa and his wife Pat of Kingwood, TX. PaPaw also leaves behind his treasured grandchildren; Krista, Lindsey and Melissa and Richard; Jessica and Kyle and Jacob and Logan; Michael, Joshua, Mandy, Becca and Layne, Nathan, Zach and Emma and seven great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind numerous precious nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
