Vira Marie (Bobbie) Horton

Graveside services for Vira (Bobbie) Marie Horton, age 89, of Perry, OK are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at the Grace Hill Cemetery with Rev. Martin Foster officiating. She was born July 7, 1918 to Clark and Anna (Christian) Chenoweth in Perry, Oklahoma. She married Johnny W. Horton and they lived their lives together in Perry. She was active member in the V.F.W. Womens Auxillary. She loved bowling, fishing, gardening and spending time with her family. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Perry. She spent most of her time outdoors working in her yard with her beautiful flowers. Mrs. Horton loved making things grow and she had a green thumb, she was able to turn a sickly twig into a beautiful plant. But the thing she treasured most was her family and friends. She loved spending her time with them. She was an Angel on earth just as she is in Heaven. Mrs. Horton passed from this life to be with her Lord and Savior on June 6, 2008 at the Perry Memorial Hospital. She is survived by: 1 Daughter: June Marie Myers of Perry, OK Half Brother: Jim Poteet of Agra, OK 4 Sisters: Libbie Norton, Dorthy Ewy, Mary Goodwin and Lewella Gregg of Perry, OK 1 Brother: Bill Chenoweth of Perry, OK 3 Grandchildren: John and Penny Langley of Perry, OK, Jason and Kara Worden of Nebraska. James and Lolly Worden of Wisconsin 10 Great-Grandchildren: John Langley Jr, Charles Langley, Brittany Sheronick, Caden Sheronick, Taylor Sheronick, Denim Worden, Erica Worden, Linsey Worden, Alexsander Worden, Emilyee Worden.
