William E. Fish

William Earl (Bill) Fish, 87, was born September 21, 1922 in Kennett, Missouri to Wilburn Fish and Lottie Mae Johnson Fish. Mr. Fish served in the Army in World War II earning the rank of Corporal. He was employed as Factory Engineer over two factories for 20 years. In 1966 he was licensed as a Minister with The Foursquare Church and in 1971 was ordained with The Assemblies of God Church organization. He was instrumental in building three churches and pastored in Colorado, Idaho, Illinois, and Missouri from 1966 until 2001. On November 23, 1940 Mr. Fish married Dorothy Anita Houseman. She preceded him in death on December 3, 1990. On July 20, 1991 he married Bonnie Ruth Cameron Jones. She preceded him in death on June 4, 2001. On February 18, 2006 he married Reba Ilene Chastain, who survives. In addition to Mrs. Fish, survivors include two sons: William E. Fish, Mt. Vernon, MO, and Bobby Joe Fish and his wife, Karen of Mulvane, KS; two step-sons: Rickie William Cameron and his wife, Schyret, of Miller, MO, and Kevin Chastain and his wife, Sarah, of Dalton, WI; three step-daughters: Sue Parnell and husband, Jim of Miller, MO, Janice Franklin of Sarcoxie, MO, and Mitzi Kilby of Miller, MO; five grandsons, seven step-grandsons, three step-granddaughters, nine great-granddaughters and six great-grandsons; two sisters: Linda Mae Weaver and her husband Don of VanBuren, MO, and Lavetta Fay Curtis and husband, Claude of Chaffee, MO; two brothers: Darius Eugene and his wife, Lynn of Pollack Pines, CA, and Connie Paul and his wife, Nickie of Tampa, FL; several nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; two children: Anita Kay and Michael Wayne; two brothers and one sister, and two step-sons: John R. Chastain and Mark R. Chastain. William Earl Fish went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at Perry Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m, Friday, October 16, 2009 at the Perry Assembly of God Church, Perry, OK., with Rev. Jason Parnell and Pastor Brett Nation officiating. Burial will be at the Chaffee Union Park Cemetery, Chaffee, MO., at 4 p.m. on Saturday, October 17, 2009. A family visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, October 15, 2009 at Perry Funeral Home, 203 East Fir Avenue. Services have been entrusted to Perry Funeral Home.
